The Glamorgan Drama League organises the local round which feeds into the national One-Act Play Competition. For many years it was the Berwyn Festival of One-Act plays, based at the Berwyn Centre in Nantymoel, but returned to Cardiff in 2005. Crossing the county has proved a positive move and to that end, following the success at the venue in 2006, 2007 and 2008 once again the festival is to be held, 7-9 May 2009, at the Dylan Thomas Theatre, courtesy of our hosts, Swansea Little Theatre. Full details of what happened at the 2008 Festival are available here. The photogallery of some of the winners is also available. |
