One-Act Festival

The Glamorgan Drama League organises the local round which feeds into the national One-Act Play Competition.

For many years it was the Berwyn Festival of One-Act plays, based at the Berwyn Centre in Nantymoel, but was held for the first time in Cardiff in 2005.  It has proved itself a very successful roving festival and to that end, following the success at the venue in 2006 and 2007 once again the festival was held to great success, 17-19 April, at the Dylan Thomas Theatre, courtesy of our hosts, Swansea Little Theatre.

Full details of what happened at the 2008 Festival are available here. A photogallery will follow soon.

We are currently waiting to find out which, if any of our productions will be invited to perform at the Welsh Final at Blackwood Miners Institute on June 6 & 7th. The finalists will be announced on 14th May, following the final production at the Montgomeryshire festival.
